Coffee is a blessing from the earth and the sun.
UCC was the first Japanese company to established and directly manage coffee estates in coffee-producing countries. In 1981 UCC began directly managing the operations of estates, firstly in Jamaica, followed by Hawaii and Indonesia. All of these estates started with one lone seedling. In Jamaica we cultivated what is known as the best coffee in the world: Blue Mountain. In Hawaii we grow the unique taste of Kona Coffee and in Indonesia UCC is producing Linotong Mandheling coffee from rare Arabica Lintong seeds.

At UCC we realize that in order to maintain the estates to cultivated the very best coffee, we have to invest a great deal in manpower and advanced technologies to provide the care needed to preserve the ideal growing environment. Only the best coffee cherries are selected and picked. At UCC we are dedicated to providing delicious and safe coffee that people need. We know the most important aspect of quality control is focused on how the coffee beans are cultivated in the country of origin. We grow our own coffee, and as we know exactly how the beans were grown, we are confident that we can provide the ideal coffee experience. Our responsibility is to make the connection between the customer's cup and the estates with delicious coffee.
