| For UCC, coffee is not simply a product, it was the starting point. The passion for people to be moved by its taste, to love coffee and to make that taste available everywhere was the starting point for the UCC business.
Therefore, we want to share all that is great about coffee with as many people as possible. The product of such a philosophy is the UCC Coffee Museum on Kobe Port Island. The fascinating items on display, including equipment and documents from our 70-year history, show the origins of coffee. Written explanations are designed to be easily understood for elementary school students and the museum is barrier-free to be accessible for all people. The museum is structured so that all visitors can enjoy themselves while learning about the profound appeal of coffee.
In addition to the museum , official UCC homepage features a multitude of information and knowledge about coffee. UCC was also involved with the translation of "All About Coffee," the most authoritative coffee book, and has a customer service desk to directly listen to customers' comments. UCC is expanding its support for the activities of the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan, an industry body involved in promoting tasty coffee.
Using each of these communication activities and services,
UCC will continue to create and promote coffee culture.

All About Coffee
A Comprehensive Survey of Coffee Culture |
 |
| Published in the U.S. in 1922, the original edition of this book came to be known as the "bible of coffee" for its extensive coverage of the history, technology, science, commerce, social aspects, and art of coffee. In 1993 UCC formed a translation and publishing committee and began a complete translation of the book as an undertaking to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the company. A 928-page Japanese edition was completed with the cooperation of 246 UCC Group employees, their families, and other interested parties. |
