The plantation set on the slope of this exhibit room is a plantation you can see in Brazil, the world's largest coffee-producing nation. In Brazil, where there are many large-scale plantations, agricultural work is becoming machine-driven. However, coffee trees can be planted on slopes in most producing areas, there are many small-scale farms, and much of the agricultural work such as harvesting is still carried out by hand.
