Colombia is one of the few countries in the world that has two crops during the year.
Its two harvest seasons are called main crop and sub crop. The locals have another name for sub crop, which is Mitaca crop.
The gift of two harvest seasons in Colombia is generated by its unique geographical features and climate rich in variety by regions.
