Cultivation of coffee begins with the growth of healthy seedlings. There is much work to be done even after transportation to plantations - including fertilization and pest control. Coffee trees that are carefully cultivated in this way take between three and five years to become stable and start bearing fruit. Production of delicious coffee depends on a hospitable natural environment together with diligent work by many people: key factors include rich soil, appropriate harvest management, and processing after harvesting.
