Cultivation of coffee

There are approximately 70 coffee-producing nations around the world, all of which are located in regions close to the equator known as the Coffee Belt. This exhibit room shows the process of coffee cultivation in detail: from the careful cultivation of a single seed through to its bearing fruit, harvesting and development into green coffee beans.
